Beefing things up

I’ll be the first to admit that posts here at Gluttonista have been few and far between lately.

Ever since our beloved Kat Nguyen left The Register earlier this month, the blog has taken a pretty big hit - I mean, one dude can only eat so much! But that’s all about to change in the upcoming weeks as we prepare to add some new faces to the blog and hopefully some new features too. 

So get ready, because things won’t be slow around here much longer.

    I had noticed that Kat wasn’t writing reviews, but this is the first I heard that she’s left OCR! No offense to anyone, but Kat IS “The Glottonista”. Can you share any information about her whereabouts?

    I am so sorry that Kat is no longer with the Register.
    I moved to Oregon from OrangeCounty 7 years ago - and read the
    OC Register at least 5 times a week on line. Kats reviews were
    by far one of my favorite parts of my reading routine. I envied her occupation. Kat, where ever you are - we wish you success and
    happiness - We miss you Gluttonista !

    Aww you guys!! Thanks so much for the kind thoughts & well wishes. I feel like such a weenie for not saying goodbye in some form. I guess I really just didn’t know how!!! I’ve loved every moment of being the Gluttonista & I so appreciate each and every one of you who have taken the time to read about my eating adventures in OC - a definite perk of a wonderful 10 year run here at the Register. I’m going to miss all this– though I’ll definitely still be eating til my pants hurt every chance I get. And who knows, maybe I’ll pop back up in the foodie blogosphere soon. :) Until then, happy eating everyone! Good luck to you Niyaz, I wouldn’t want anyone else shepherding this baby. ;) … Kat

    Kat, wishing you all the best and will keep an eye open for your blog. Maybe Niyaz can covertly give us a heads up when you’re back in the biz :-)
